About me
It is very important to me that the individuals I work with feel safe and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. This begins with navigating through the many choices of therapists that one may seek for themselves or their loved ones.
My approach to therapy is to create a safe, supportive and collaborative therapeutic environment for individuals to explore and develop a healthy sense of self. Everyone has individual strengths and the ability to make changes to achieve personal goals. I believe with the right support all people can tap into their innate strengths and live satisfying lives. I believe in empowering individuals to develop coping skills to live healthy lives, while also providing them an understanding of the mind-body connection.
I received my undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University Of New Hampshire and my master’s degree in Social Work from Boston College. I work from multiple treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, Trauma Focused-CBT, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy.
Thank you for taking the time to review my profile and let’s decide together if my therapeutic style is a good fit for you!
