Helen Rudinsky, LPC
About me
As a Licensed Professional Counselor with 30 years of experience, I have a strong background helping clients change harmful patterns, build solid relationships, and achieve happy, fulfilling lives.
My formal education consists of a Master's Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, a Master's Degree in Cross-Cultural Studies, and a Master's of Divinity in Theology.
My therapy style is warm and interactive. I use worksheets, handouts, videos, and personality tests to help you develop tools to bring more harmony to your life and relationships.
I conduct counseling that is solution-focused, with your specific goals in mind, so you see a difference right away, not months from now. I help you work through issues systematically, so you feel empowered to move forward with confidence. Some of the areas I can help you with are Self esteem, relationship issues, communication skills, setting boundaries, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, and career decisions.
What sets me apart from a lot of other counselors is that my treatment plans attempt to keep clients on a systematic, results-oriented, skills-based approach to change. I have put together a focused, short-term program to help clients achieve their goals quickly, even after 1-2 visits. Your personal treatment plan is designed to be results-oriented with the "end in mind", so you feel hopeful, energized, and see changes right away.

Have only met once and she offered some resources I hadn't considered before. Very easy to talk to and comfortable with the topics being discussed.
