Henry Meyerson, Psychologist
About me
I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston with a specialty in clinical psychology and a subspecialty in the psychosocial aspects of physical disorders. I began my clinical private practice after having acquired a firm foundation from my internship at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics. In addition to my 20 years in private practice i was also consultant to various psychotherapy clinics and long term physical rehabilitation facilities. While my private practice was general (parent (child issues, marital discord, separation and aging), I also maintained a focus on the psychological effects of chronic autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, as well as other chronic disorders. I feel that a cognitive behavioral therapy approach , within a framework of client-centered and emotionally supportive interactions, is the most conducive to helping my clients to deal with their life's conflicts and hurdles.

Henry has been great in helping me navigate my life and all of the things I've had to deal with recently. I'm grateful to have him as a therapist and it has been tremendous working with his years of wisdom and supporting my understanding of life events. If you're looking for someone with years of experience and cuts to the point, he's your guy!

Being this was my first time doing this I was nervous going in. I was as truthful and honest as can be and I felt he was able to read me very well. I was happy with our first session. I am looking forward to seeing him again soon

I really enjoyed therapy with Henry, he has a very direct approach and tries to be as straightforward as he could in a non-straightforward business. He helped me in a tough time in my life. Provided assurance when needed and asked the right questions
