About me

I am a MNCPS Accredited Counsellor, having attained my BA (Hons) In Integrative Counselling. My previous body of work includes working with clients through the charity Mind, working in private practice, and currently, I hold a part time position within the NHS as a Renal Counsellor, supporting patients living with chronic kidney disease.

I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, living with chronic illness, grief, relationship issues, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression.

My aim is to work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where we can build a safe and trusting relationship in which clients can share and explore thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment.

Often the first step is the hardest, you have reached our for support which, to me, speaks of some hope that things can get better. I really hope I can support you in your journey and that we can discover the tools and techniques that will work for you to move forward and better cope with the challenges that life so often throws us.

I look forward to working with you

Holly is so kind and insightful and is happy for me to take things at a speed appropriate to me. I’m brand new to therapy and feel very lucky to have been matched with someone so supportive. It is very validating that she checks in between sessions and I really feel like she cares about my well-being.

Holly Forde is talking with me just via messaging for now, and that's all I want and need for now. I'm still getting used to sharing my thoughts and feelings and I really appreciate her being there, and that she will respond eventually.

Holly has been absolutely fantastic. I have only had two booked sessions with her but I really feel I have found someone that genuinely wants to help me and understands what I’m going through. Nothing seems silly to Holly and she is fully there to listen and support!
