Hello! Congratulations on taking steps toward your healing by seeking a counselor - that takes a lot of vulnerability and bravery. The most lasting changes are made when we are in control of them, and this is a great step forward in taking control of and managing your life.
I’ll tell you a little bit about me so you can decide if we might be a good fit. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Oregon and a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner in Nebraska with over 8 years of experience working with individuals, families, and couples. I have worked at two therapeutic boarding schools and a counseling support network where I have been privileged to help individuals and families work through hurt and trauma, grow through struggles, and come through on the other side stronger. This has included offering support to individuals through periods of high anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts, and working through trauma and grief to a place of peace and comfort. I’ve also worked with parents through difficult periods of parenting as their children make decisions outside of their control, and helped individuals and families as they continue to process the effects of trauma, adoption, and/or grief. Sometimes life feels overwhelming, and most people go through a period or long stretches of anxiety and depression. We all want deep and meaningful connections in our lives and to experience wholeness. As we work together I want to empower you to take charge of who you are through tools, through support, and through new thought patterns. Sometimes we all need a safe space to cry and be ourselves so we can face the world, and I feel honored when someone shares their story with me. It’s a privilege to witness when someone faces the darkness and moves forward into the healthy and whole life that they want, and I want this for you.
Primarily, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to draw from tools and well-researched methods for coping and growing. I have experience in helping individuals, families, and couples develop healthy boundaries and healthy communication so you can be your best self in the world and with the people around you. I am a Christian and can also provide a Christian therapeutic perspective if this is something you are looking for.
This is your story and your time, so may you continue to take charge of who you are. I look forward to getting to know you.

I have worked with Holly for almost 2 years now. This has been a time of pain, loss, sorrow, and new beginnings. Holly has been available to help me through this every step of the way. Her guidance and expertise have helped me not only return to the confident self that I was missing but also taught me skills to reinforce the confidence when needed.

Holly’s expertise has helped me navigate through the most difficult moments of my life after trauma. Her calm nature and ability to listen with her heart, always taking into consideration my spiritual needs by closing our sessions with prayer, makes all the difference to me. What a blessing to have been paired with such a wonderful person & professional.

Better help is hands-down the best decision I have made for myself since covid and the personal traumas my family endured alone and together. HOLLY is so good at meeting me wherever I am - she’s safe, loving, tender, and experienced in all types of therapy I have needed. We’ve been together about two years twice a week and I get up every day because she creates comfort I take with me through the rest of the days until I see her again.
She responds to all messages when she’s able, and keeps her eyes open for books, activities, resources in my community to help me thrive. Top notch, 5 ⭐️, 100%.

Holly is very invested in my growth. I feel supported by her but not coddled. She is not afraid to challenge or prod me when my actions are not consistent with my goals, but never with judgement or condescension.

Holly helped me replace many of the hurtful scripts I had grown up with. Through her encouragement I have learned to trust myself, make decisions for myself, set boundaries, respect other's boundaries, and face so many challenges over this past year with her. I will be so sad to no longer work with her as I relocated, but if she is your therapist you also are gaining an amazing friend who will listen to your challenges with compassion and a heart that only wants to see the best for you.
