About me

I am a professional counselor licensed in the state of Missouri, with about seven years of experience, and over a decade and a half of experience working with addiction and mental health. I have worked with a range of clients, from children to elderly, who have come to me for a variety of issues, including anxiety and stress, depression, relationship issues, addiction, and lack of motivation.

There are times in our lives when we need a new vision and someone to help us create strategies to overcome old challenges and take life to the next level. Seeking this change can be a daunting task, but I am here to help support you in your success. My counseling style is rather eclectic, based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with strong influences from Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused techniques, and existential psychotherapy.

I look forward to working with you!

I have been through a few therapist through the years and it’s been 2 years since I was last in this app. I asked to have Ian back again because I really felt Iike I made a lot of progress with him before and his work helped me navigate the last 2 years. I’m back now just to better my communicating skills and keep reinforcing what I’ve learned and worked on.

As I was told with others, therapy can go extremely well if paired with the right person. I feel Ian is extremely understanding, proffesional and I'm looking forward to our meetings and conversing everytime! I do not think I could get a better therapist for my situation, to be truly honest.
