About me

I'm an LPC in Georgia with over 10 years experience in mental health. I received my bachelors degree in Psychology from Alabama A&M University in 2006 and my masters degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University in 2009. I have worked within Community Mental Heath Agencies, Department of Juvenile Justice and Psychiatric Hospitals. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, behavior issues, family/relationship issues, self-esteem, self harming, trauma, PTSD, and pregnancy and infant lost.

I utilizes an integrated approach to include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Person Centered and mindfulness techniques to guide the therapeutic process. I am a firm believer that we have exactly what we need inside the move towards the goals we set, sometimes we need a little help. My motto is “You do not have to be a VICTIM of your circumstances, you can be VICTORIOUS in your circumstances” meaning no matter what you are going through there is always HOPE, in fact there is INFINITE HOPE.

She really followed along with what I was saying. I feel like it’s about me which sometimes we don’t get talking to family and friends. She let me know if I was doing better or what steps I should consider for my mental health. I feel comfortable and supported.

India listens to me and gives me meaningful coping mechanisms. She is very down to earth and I always feel like she understands what I am feeling. I look forward to our sessions each week.

She is very personable. She sent me a few worksheets to help me think through my problems and goals as well as strategies to reframe my perspective. We've only had one session, but I plan to continue using her services.
