About me
Life is difficult, confusing and scary sometimes, we can feel misunderstood and overwhelmed by issues that seem to multiply by the day. Perhaps you have a vision of where you want to go but no way to get there, perhaps even planning what you want for dinner is a struggle. You may be anxious, depressed, lost, grieving, searching for direction or struggling to cope with it all. I understand. Speaking about emotional pain can feel risky. Discovering the honesty and courage to put your experience into words can contribute to developing insight, self-confidence and self-respect.
I am Issaka (or Zak) an integrative therapist based in the UK with over 4 years of experience, I specialise in working with you to identify and explore areas in which you struggle and helping you develop bespoke tools that enable you to excel. I will support your journey with understanding and empathy, I will not judge you or tell you what to do, rather, we will collaborate to build your resilience and move you closer to where you deserve to be.
My therapy style is accepting and compassionate. I believe in treating everyone with the utmost respect and dignity, it is my role to strive to understand what it means to exist in the world of my clients and walk alongside them. My approach combines Humanistic, Jungian analytical modalities and coaching. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs, as no one approach fits everyone, thus, we can work together to find an approach that works for you.
Psychotherapy is a unique form of conversation. It unfolds and deepens over time. Speaking about emotional pain can feel risky. Discovering the honesty and courage to put your experience into words can contribute to developing insight, self-confidence and self-respect. Profound fears and anxieties can gradually assume more human proportions.
Taking the first steps towards change and seeking a more fulfilling and happier life requires courage. If you're ready to take that step, I'm here to support and empower you. Don't hesitate to reach out if you want to increase your self-awareness and understanding. Together, we'll take it one step at a time and begin to make sense of it all. I'm excited to work with you!

It has been around 6 months that I have been doing therapy with Issaka Zango and I have seen very important and concrete improvements in my life, my relationship with my partner, and my professional relationships. He is an empathtic therapist that listens carefully and understands me. He is also a very insightful therapist that has opened up new perspectives in me through his observations and interpretations. He is both knowledgable and highly motivated/invested in his job. I would definitely recommend him as a therapist.

What can I say about Issaka that will do him justice? He is excellent - cordial, approachable, understanding and insightful. While I think we have a way to go, he has helped me a great deal.

I have really benefited from having Issaka as my therapist as his approach compliments my needs. I always feel heard with him and he did a great job of ensuring our sessions were a safe space to explore my thoughts and feelings early on so now having worked with him for a while I am extremely comfortable to discuss whatever comes up for me and I’m grateful that his structure allows me to do that really organically. He is very respectful and considerate which is another reason why I think working with him has helped me so much.

Issaka is a good listener, he immediately start thinking in your way and guide you by your own words to solution. And that is making you understand and start to think about how you can help your self outside the one on one session. Strongly suggest to choose him.
