About me
Welcome! Here you will find the support that offers evidence-based psychotherapy needed during times of stress and hardship. You don't have to walk through this time alone. During certain times in our lives, we face obstacles, in which we are called upon to show up and face. These times can bring out our darkest fears, most poignant sense of shame, and vulnerability that feels way too raw. However, there is always room for solace and strength. Let's walk through this together.
Here, I hope for you to find therapy that will withhold an environment that is inclusive of compassion, safety, and empowerment, for each and every one of you. I am psychoanalytically focused and I use a variety of different techniques, although I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as my main tool.
I am an alumni of Florida Atlantic University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, subsequently going on to receive my Masters of Science in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I am a Licensed Mental Heath Psychotherapist primarily trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as a board-certified as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I run a private practice in Sunny South Florida, where I see all walks of life. I have extensive experience in personality disorders, anxiety, depression, mood disorders as well as trauma. Additionally, my experience is integrated within substance abuse, as well as Forensic Psychology relating to the Department of Children and Families and The Department of Corrections.
In my practice, I implement effective client-centered strategies, while taking a humanistic approach towards the therapeutic relationship. Resulting in a better understanding of one's self that will initiate an increase in self-fulfillment and a decrease in self-defeating emotions/behavior. The area I focus on the most is creating a safe, empowering, and compassionate environment for all of my clients, where light, solace and strength can cultivate. Therapy is a large leap of faith and I commend you for taking this next step. Truthfully, therapy is not a quick fix, it is a priceless healing process that takes participation and investment. Come take a step inside and you will find life-altering results.
