Jacqueline Miner, LPC
About me
Hi, I'm Jacqueline Miner, a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas with a strong commitment to helping individuals live fulfilling and emotionally balanced lives. With 10 years of experience in the mental health field, I've had the privilege of witnessing the transformative power of therapy in my clients' lives.
My journey in this field began with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University, where I discovered my fascination with understanding human behavior and the complexities of the mind. This fascination led me to pursue a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
Throughout my career, I've worked in a variety of settings such as psychiatric hospitals, community mental health centers, and private practice. I've had the honor of working with diverse populations and addressing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. I believe that the foundation of successful therapy lies in building a trusting and collaborative relationship with my clients. I provide a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors without fear of criticism.
My goal is to equip my clients with the skills and tools they need to navigate life's ups and downs confidently. Beyond the therapy room, I am a firm believer in promoting self-care and self-compassion as essential ingredients for maintaining mental well-being. I encourage my clients to implement self-care routines that suit their individual needs and lifestyles. Additionally, I will tailor our sessions and my interventions to meet your unique and specific needs. If you're seeking a supportive and compassionate therapist to guide you through your journey of growth and healing, I am here to walk alongside you. Together, we can work towards a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life.

Jacqueline was a true God send. She was so compassionate and caring. She offered practical help and was great at sending me useful resources. This was my first experience seeking therapy and she made the experience completely worthwhile. I would highly recommend her and can truly not say enough kind things about her.

She listens well. When I ask for suggestions she provides the advice wether during the session or a worksheet. She makes me feel comfortable and safe which comforts me and feel I can bring up anything to her.

Jacqueline Miner is the best therapist I’ve had, period. I’ve tried other therapists on other platforms and they never seemed to get me or have useful information or recommendations. Jacqueline is patient, empathetic, and encouraging. She will kindly correct me if I need reframing, offers lots of differ suggestions for groups, classes, books, tools etc. and has helped me with personal and professional growth. So thankful I found a therapist that’s a match for me.
