Jacqueline is a Texas State Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker currently serving the States of Delaware, Florida, and Texas.

Jacqueline R. Smith, LCSW-S, is an African-American therapist born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah and pursued her graduate studies in Clinical Social Work at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.

Jacqueline has spent her professional career serving a multitude of populations. Prior to the establishment of her private practice, Jacqueline worked as a Social Work Specialist in the Multicultural Student Center at her alma-mater Weber State University and transitioned into serving at-risk children for several years with the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services as an intake specialist, investigator, and providing additional transitional services to youth in foster care. Jacqueline further dedicated time to addressing the mental health needs of adolescents at the San Antonio State Hospital. Jacqueline has worked as a clinical case manager with University Health System's Ryan White Program, providing services to those affected by HIV/AIDS. She has also served as a counselor for both the Bexar County Adult and Juvenile Detention Centers and has been employed as a Clinical Social Worker within Harlandale Independent School District and Judson Independent School District, providing services to at-risk youth and families.

Additionally, Jacqueline currently provides counseling services to those involved with BBBS of South Texas and also volunteers at the organization as a Big Sister and member of the Black Advisory Council (BAC).
