Jacqueline Walz, LICSW
About me
Hello and welcome! My name is Jackie Walz and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the State of Minnesota. I have been working in the field for over 10 years. I received my Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology from The University of North Dakota in 2006 as well as my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Social Work in 2009 & 2010, respectively.
My style is warm, casual, inviting, and patient. Person-centeredness has been at the center of my education and career. Therefore, I start with where you are at and focus on what's important to you. Much of my experience has been 1:1 with adults. I have a lot of experience working with the geriatric population as well as those that suffer from depression and anxiety. I come from a non-judgmental and empathetic place. If you are familiar with enneagrams, I am an enneagram type 2, meaning I'm empathetic, sincere, and warm-hearted. I have always taken on the role of a helper and enjoy walking and navigating through tough times with individuals.
I also have been in a leadership position for much of my career, so I have a lot of experience in coaching and guiding within employee development.
Reaching out can be very vulnerable. You are courageous for taking this first step and I look forward to working with you and helping you meet your goals!

This is the most consistent I've stayed with therapy and Jackie is very helpful in helping me understand why I may think in a certain way. I've been so much less stressed since starting therapy with her. I feel like I can solve my issues and feel safe to reach out if I need help.
