Jaime Barbosa, LPC
About me
Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the States of Texas and Oregon. My educational background is in Clinical Psychology. With extensive experience, I specialize in treating clients dealing with low self-esteem, depression, stress, and anxiety.
My commitment to professional growth drives me to stay informed about the most modern and effective counseling methods. Over the years, my approach has evolved, and I selectively employ evidence-based techniques that have demonstrated success.
Currently, I utilize an eclectic counseling approach, emphasizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I firmly believe that personalized care is essential; there is no one-size-fits-all solution in counseling. My practice values cultural sensitivity, respecting clients’ culture, religious beliefs, lifestyle, and individuality.
I take pride in providing exceptional service, treating each client with respect and dignity. Everyone deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential in life, including the pursuit of happiness.

Jaime and I are brand new to each other but he grasped my issues right away and offered great advice. He's easy to talk to - totally non-judgmental and helpful. He always answers me promptly and with kindness and patience and I'm grateful he's there for me.
