About me

I am License Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina since 2011. However I have 28 years of professional mental health work experience with children, adolescents, adult, and geriatric populations in a variety of settings. If are at least 13 years and up I currently help clients with teen counseling, stress and anxiety, couples counseling, anger management, depression, and substance abuse issues. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. I’ve never felt judged or uncomfortable with James. When I have judged myself and had uncomfortable topics, James put me at ease and helps me navigate the hard things in life. I can’t recommend James enough as a fabulous therapist!
