James Armstrong, LPC
About me
I am a licensed professional counselor and a National Certified Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I have been able to work with people in different settings for nearly a decade. I have the most experience providing services that relate to anxiety, stress, family relationship issues, coping skills, and life transitions.
My counseling style is primarily person centered and I like to adapt different therapeutic approaches as the therapeutic relationship evolves. I have enjoyed working with people of all ages and helping them reach their goals through adapting approaches to their unique circumstances. I have found that often the most part important part of developing confidence and motivating people for a positive change in their lives is providing a space where they are truly heard without judgement.
The path to healing can be difficult to start and even more difficult to maintain yet I hope that you will undertake this journey and know that you are not alone in it. I look forward to hearing from you and am excited to be a part of your journey!
