James Cameron, LCMHC
About me
The emphasis on my training is in child, adolescent and family therapy. I received a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology at Antioch University of New England. I specialize in eating disorders and I have a combined 35 years experience as a psychotherapist.
I am certified in eating disorders. I have implemented Bio-Feedback as a tool. It has significantly reduced stress in people with ADD/ADHD, anger management, anxiety, and panic disorders. This system has also been found to effectively manage pain
I trained in Okinawa, Japan, focusing on meditation, and presently I have a 8th degree black belt. I use karate and meditation practices to further enhance my therapy.
Take the first step to help. I look forward to working with you.

JC is super caring and personable, I have never been able to feel this close and comfortable with another therapist. I am able to talk about things that I never have before and he helps me in ways I never expected. James has given me a direction on a new path has helped me find a passion I might be able to turn into a career someday, which is saying more than I can put into words.

He gets to know the person. He works to know your wants and needs. I like talking with him and it helps me to get things off my mind. He is open minded and looks at many options to help me. I like how he thinks and how he works with the not so conventional matters.
