My name is James Ritchie and I am a full-time Counselor located in the San Antonio, TX & Atkins, TX areas. I counsel using my private practice "Just Real Counseling Services, PLLC". The reason behind “Just Real Counseling” is I saw too many bios of other counselors talking about potentially taking the first steps. You already have taken that first step and I hope to be able to take the next step with you! I use an approach that includes goal setting (my personal favorite) where we collaborate on goals from the very first session! I will always be real with you each and every session!

I am licensed in Texas with 3 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with relationship issues, intimacy related issues, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, substance use / abuse, career coaching & career difficulties. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
