About me
I am a licensed clinical social worker providing trauma-informed therapy services. I provide a safe and inviting presence that allows clients to work through a wide range of issues including with grief, depression, anxiety, break-ups, stress, relationship issues, and struggles with identify and self-esteem. Together we will focus on your natural strengths and interests to help you to cope and feel better. I received my Master's in Social Work degree from the University of Denver and have over 10 years of experience providing therapy services and support to individuals of all ages. My background includes work in community mental health, grief and loss centers, private practice, and hospice care.
I provide an eclectic approach to therapy that is tailored to meet the needs of each individual client- whether you are looking for traditional talk therapy or creative hands-on ideas for expressing yourself. While my specialty is grief and loss, I have also received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy, and Expressive Arts Therapy. She is extremely patient with me and always has great advise. She is committed to getting to the root of where my current issues are coming from and I’m not afraid to tell her exactly how I’m feeling.
