I know how difficult but rewarding the process of self-change can be. I hope to offer empowerment and validation to the clients that I work with, as well as solutions to the problems you are facing. I am a big believer in positive thinking, and that small steps can add up to big changes. I know taking steps to better yourself can feel daunting, and I am here to offer support and accountability on that journey. If your efforts to achieve change typically result in to-do lists that become lists of unaccomplished goals, please reach out to me and allow me to assist you.
I spent many long years of my life working odd jobs and wandering around life aimlessly before finding my calling in therapy. I attended the University of Central Florida to complete my Master's in mental health, and I have worked in community mental health agencies, including traditional outpatient, inpatient, schools and clinics, substance abuse, and with adults and children from diverse walks of life and backgrounds. I have a Solution-Focused background and utilize elements of CBT, and ACT. I am a big believer in the science of mental health and what current research shows, and I like to find approaches that are tailored to my individual clients. I also believe that our experiences in life have lasting impact, which is not something to be battled against, but rather incorporated into our own personal versions of mental health. I believe in research and skill-building, but also that this is not a one-size fits all process.
I look forward to working with you to achieve change in your life!

I appreciate Jamie's problem solving approach to therapy. While it is wonderful to be validated by a therapist, my needs have always been along the lines of practicing coping skills, problem solving, and hacking my own mind to better my emotional regulation. Very grateful to have her in my life - I am maturing into a more confident, self-reliant person who is learning to be compassionate to themselves.

Jamie has helped me in many ways through our sessions, one in which is the most important; I have a much better understanding and acceptance of myself. I feel more confident in my opinions, wants and desires and am continuing to work on self acceptance every day. Without Jamie’s help this wouldn’t have been possible.

Jamie has helped me enormously. Shealways listens and gives me positive ways to deal with my many issues. I have been through some horrible stuff in my life. Jamie was the one who I trusted enough to tell things I never spoke a word of to anyone else. I would recommend her to anyone that is serious about getting the help they need.

She has helped me unscramble the different thoughts in my brain. I have gained back much of my confidence, and she has given me many tools to help counteract my depression and anxiety. I will be able to use these tools in the future.

She is awesome, my first time in theraphy, and for all that has happened in my life ,for me to take that step finally at an older age is a miracle in itself.Jamie and l connected very well and thats the first thing a person does when they start this type of thing.Lf you dont connected than you arent going anywhere with that person and that happened with first therapist L had on here.Jamie is great at explaining things and listening....l would recommend here to any one who needs help and someone to sort things out and just listen......She is experienced in alot of issues ...And thats what l needed!!!
