About me

I am licensed in Wisconsin with 22 years of professional work experience. I started my career working in a domestic violence shelter and found myself inspired by the brave women and children. I have many years of experience working with teens in treatment foster care who survived severe trauma and abuse. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. It is truly an honor to be a part of a person's healing journey. In helping clients with anxiety, trauma histories, PTSD, psychosis, grief, depression, or other life challenges, I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I believe therapy is a collaborative process. I offer a unique combination of approaches. I am a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional for both adults and children. I offer Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mind body integration techniques, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and strength based approaches. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Janette Gunn. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Janette has good insight and is realistic about situations and how to solve them. I feel comfortable when speaking it's truly just having a conversation.
