About me

Hello, I having been within the mental health world for an exciting 8 years now as an LCSW. Prior to becoming an LCSW I was in the United States Army having served 4 years. I became involved in social work as I have always been an individual that shows compassion and active listening to friends and family. For years prior to becoming a social worker I would volunteer at local agencies or shelters around the state wherever my assistance was needed . My experience involves working with teenagers, adults and families with mental health, and behavioral health. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, conduct disorders, anger management, self-esteem issues, personality disorders, and mood disorders. I understand that adults go through a challenging time in life and I am here to listen and help you sort through life with ease.

I am a friendly and approachable therapist with a natural talent for making people feel welcomed. I enjoy working with children and adolescents from all ethnicities and backgrounds to overcome behavioral and emotional issues and achieve personal growth. I am dedicated and passionate about helping people make positive change in their lives.

Operating from a strengths-based perspective, I utilize a variety of evidenced-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Family Systems Theories, to support children, adults, and families.
