Jaqueline "Jaqui" Vallina, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in Georgia. I have dual Master's degrees in Social Work and Criminology from Florida State University. I moved to Atlanta three years ago and enjoy looking for new places to eat (especially for dessert).
I have been a therapist for 10 years and my counseling style is providing a non-judgmental and conversational atmosphere with an open and honest dialogue. I use a combination of Narrative, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, or Trauma-Focused therapy strategies, depending on which fits the client's needs. I also like to use humor, Art Therapy, or Mindfulness incorporated activities. I have provided counseling to clients experiencing depression, anxiety, self-harm, LGBTQIA+ challenges, relationship issues, or were involved in the criminal justice system.

Ms. Jaqui is very patient and listens to everything I say, she makes me feel very comfortable. I thought it would be difficult for myself to open up. Ms. Jaqui keeps everything very professional which is very important, but also feels like you’re just speaking to a friend and catching up after a while. I would 100% recommend to the better help app.

Jaqui is very professional and is very nice. I feel like I talk too much but she’s been a really great therapist to talk to. I would like to keep working on my struggles with her. I feel comfortable talking to her and that’s a huge thing for me.
