Thank you for taking a look at my profile. I have over 27 years of experience in the behavioral health field with the last five years of that being virtual/text/phone based sessions. I do my best to reduce the pressure and tension usually associated with beginning the counseling/therapy process. If you don't feel like I'm a good fit for you and your issues, I understand. I would appreciate you giving me a chance though. I hope you get a chance to read the reviews of people just like yourself have been nice enough to leave here about their work with me. I wish you well on your journey and would be honored if you invite me to tag along. Have a great rest of your day or night. Respectfully and Professionally Yours, Jason

Jason is an excellent conversationalist and has a wide breadth of knowledge to draw from. One of the most helpful things he did for me is to provide post-session notes that summarized our conversation. He listened to my story and was there to help guide me through my difficulties. He checked in through messages regularly which kept me on track and was really nice because it felt like he cared about my progress as well.

He has never judged me or made me feel judged that’s why I choose to stick with him. I like that I can talk to him as a friend rather than a therapist, but he still gives therapist feedback.

I’m not a good therapy client. An event of high trauma finally pushed me over the line to reach out for help. Despite my reluctance and poor skillset as a client, Jason has been able to get beyond the shallows and really helped me process some of the most difficult experiences and decisions I’ve ever faced. I’m very thankful for his experience and insight.
I’m also grateful for the ease, responsiveness and convenience of this platform during the brief period I have used it.

Jason has been really great, supportive, listening, non-judgemental. I do feel like the first few sessions are always about “catching up”, telling the story, and he is listening. I look forward to a place where he is “caught up” and I can ask him for more concrete advice. Right now, just having someone really listen is helping me through a tough time. I probably need ten sessions a day to feel really ok, but of course some of it is just needing life to happen.

I thought I would have a hard time with therapy because I am a very non-BS real-world type of guy. I had never been to therapy before and was very apprehensive about it. The first person I was paired with didn't work out and I was really starting to worry that no one really understood me.
But I’m glad I was wrong, Jason is awesome. Very real in his experiences and approach. Exceptionally personable and easy to talk to. Has helped me tremendously living with my bi-polar partner and the stresses of life that come with that. If you are looking for an authentic, real human experience Jason is the guy you’re looking for.

Jason makes me feel like a person, not just another patient. I feel like he truly cares about the way that I feel, and he wants to help me figure out the best way not to feel that way anymore. His experience is unreal. I know that because, I can kind of explain how I'm feeling and within minutes, he has literally given an explanation and other feelings that may be happening. He describes how I feel to a T. If he isn't a mind reader then he is amazing at his job. I could not be happier with my therapist.

This therapist knows how to relate, understand, and make you feel comfortable talking about things that you may not want to talk about usually. I have appreciated and respected all the help he has given just in the couple of sessions we’ve had. It means a lot to talk to a person that doesn’t make you feel like just another client or a number, but he actually cares about you. I would recommend him to anyone.

He is very well spoken, and nonjudgmental. It’s a total 180 of other stereotypical therapists. He actually cares about your well being and keeps an open mind with great listening skills. He has so many openings for call sessions so you won’t have to worry he is “too busy” for whatever problems you need to talk about. And he gives actual mental techniques that you can use if you’re a more physical learner! 10/10!

Starting with a new therapist is always daunting, but Jason made me feel very comfortable, heard, and cared for from his first message, through our first session and beyond. I appreciate his sensitivity to my trauma background, and his willingness to let me explore retelling my story in my own timing. He asked for goals I'd like to work on specifically, and sends insightful readings between sessions to aid with journaling, education, and session topic direction. I feel very comfortable as a cisgender queer woman client, because Jason is respectful and aware of some special situations that are present in my daily life.

As a young adult living in an extremely strict Society and the idea of Therapy isn’t very Acceptable and faced with a lot of Backlash and Judgment , i still had the strength to decide that it was time for me to get the help that i need , and i was really scared of how this is going to turn out to be but I couldn’t be Thankful and Lucky enough to have Jason as my Counselor , his Friendly and patience approach definitely were major factors for me to open up easily and to reduce my anxiety , he is a great listener and when things got too difficult , his sense of humor definitely eased things up and made the session got a bit lighter no matter how emotionally exhausting it was , i’m seeing a lot of progress in myself and as much as i still got a long way , but every progress matters , This would not be possible for Jason’s Friendly Approach and his patience and just the way he makes you look at things differently , to keep things Simple : he is simply the best and the greatest and never doubt that he will definitely do everything he can to help you out with everything no matter how big or small , so I would Highly recommend him :)

There are so many wonderful things I can say about Jason. He has been extremely helpful, compassionate and is invested in the person he’s helping.
I have Always been the doing it alone and figure it out on my own. I was so stubborn and thought I didn’t need the help, when in fact I did. I am so grateful for the positive experience and the positive change.
Jason has helped me see things that I’ve missed and has helped with my anxiety and my past issue ( which has been causing all sorts of issues today for me).
For the first time in my life, I have been able to deal with my past and be able to handle the many challenges that life throws. I work in a job that thrives on stress and huge responsibilities. I always find it comforting to know that I can easily speak to Jason about any of the things I deal with at work. I have been able to learn how to process the high stress and traumatic things I see/deal with.
My friends and family have noticed a huge change , a positive change.

I’ve been working with Jason for just over two months now and I can safely say he’s brilliant. I instantly felt comfortable talking to Jason and an hour session flies by in what feels like 5 minutes. He is empathetic, reflective, quick witted and has helped me to pinpoint areas of my life I need to work on. After many years of being very hard on myself, I come out of every session with Jason feeling positive and like I am enough. He’s one of a kind and I’m so glad he was selected as my therapist!

Jason is amazing. He is very understanding and has an abundance of patience. He also has a wide variety of experience, offering valuable input in many different categories. He isn't pushy, but he is assertive on calling me out on my thinking errors. He always responds in a timely manner and keeps our appointments. I'm very thankful for his help with my relationship issues and my eating disorder.

Jason is very empathic. He truly understands what I go through and offers a wide array of coping mechanisms ranging from radical acceptance to skills on how to set boundaries. He can relate to what I go through which makes it easier for him to provide realistic solutions. He’s opened my eyes quite a lot. I now see things for what they are. I think some of my realizations are difficult to face because they are disappointing and sad conclusions to draw. But Jason is there for me. Life is not fair. Thankfully there are people out there like Jason who will help you get on with your life and maximize your potential despite past, present and future adversity. Thanks Jason for always doing your best.

If you're troubled, if you're happy and you're wanting to achieve an important goal, no matter what your emotional state and reasons for counselling, I highly recommend talking to Jason. He has worked with many kind of patients and I've personally found these little nuggets of information extremely valuable. He has wisdom, is affable and down to earth, patient, has an awesome sense of humour, and has been extremely helpful in highlighting areas of my life that we can work on. He has acted somewhat like a mirror reflecting my main issues which I've found extremely helpful and insightful. He is always kind, patient, and a gentleman and a credit to his profession.
