About me

From being a leader in church youth groups to serving as a case manager and street outreach worker for runaway and homeless youth, I have worked with adolescents in a variety of settings since 2006. As a therapist, I have been providing individual and family therapy to adolescents since 2015, and I have been leading group sessions one day a week for an adolescent intensive outpatient program (IOP) since 2022.

I provide individual therapy to adults as well, and I desire to help people, regardless of their age or stage of life, become who God has created them to be.

I use cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused approaches in therapy, and I teach dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) skills. I also incorporate family systems, attachment, and Christian faith perspectives (when desired).

I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, anger management, depression, & coping with life changes.

I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.

Personally, I know what it's like to live with depression and anxiety, having addressed these issues in my own life. I believe taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage and I am here to support you in that process.
