About me
I am credentialed in the state of Alabama with 20 years of professional work experience as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I firmly believe that people have the capacity to substantially improve their situations through developing insight and finding practical solutions to create the change for which they aspire. My experience includes helping clients with stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, and coping with grief and loss. I also have worked with people who are experiencing life changes including cancer and other serious medical conditions. I am a musician and have unique insight into using our creative capacity in the arts to make a better life for ourselves and those around us. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
