Jenna Callahan, LPCC
About me
I am a licensed professional clinical counselor in Kentucky with 10 years of experience working as a psychotherapist. I have worked with a diverse clientele ranging in ages from 5 years old to 80 years old with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, Schizophrenia, career challenges, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD and substance use issues.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with unconditional positive regard while steering clear of stigmatizing labels and judgement. My therapeutic approach combines techniques from cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, humanistic, psychodynamic, Adlerian and dialectical behavioral counseling. I tailor the therapeutic approach and techniques used to fit your personality and specific needs. I view the therapeutic process as a team approach in which you and I both will work on identifying problems and goals. The rate of which those goals are achieved are always tailored to your comfort level.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you

Very intellectually and emotionally intelligent. Goes the extra mile to make you feel like she genuinely cares. As I am someone that is often skeptical that many therapists are just out for money, this was huge in my being able to trust her.

I love Jenna and how she really listens to me. Even when I'm just complaining about some arbitrary, she's still there. She's a great mentor and therapist.
