Jennifer Bobadilla, LMFT
About me
Hello, I am glad you are here. If this is your first time in therapy, this may feel overwhelming to walk into. I am glad that you are advocating for you and taking care of you, even if it feels hard to reach out.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I believe in the power in having a safe place to figure things out with someone who feels safe for you. Whatever hurdles you feel like are standing in your way right now, we can jump over them together at the pace you'd like.
I am here to hold whatever you would like me to, so that you are getting what you want out of therapy. I want to help you feel supported and heard through warmth and compassion.
My approach emphasizes self-care and self-compassion, connected and healthy relationships, and processing things through to increase your self-awareness. I have extensive experience in working with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, parenting issues, and self-esteem and confidence.
I received my Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Masters Degree in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton. I am passionate about working from an attachment perspective. Outside of being a therapist, I enjoy drinking coffee with my husband and hanging out with my dog! I also love all things cooking, eating, and recipe-trying!
I look forward to connecting with you.
Jennifer

Jennifer is a wonderful therapist. She offers various ways to think differently about situations. Offers ways to address them and comforts when you didn’t realize you needed it.

She has helped me through so many difficult situations. She somehow manages to make me find the solution by myself. I can’t thank her enough. I look forward to my sessions every week. I’ve hardly missed one even when on vacation.

I’ve been working with Jennifer for almost a year now and I enjoy her approach to our sessions. I feel heard and understood. She often provides different perspectives for me and I feel like I’ve grown a lot since starting BetterHelp with her. I’ve gone through other therapists and their approach just wasn’t for me. Jennifer often checks in to see where I am at and if my goals have changed. She also makes sure that I get time in my sessions to speak about anything that I was hoping to touch on. She’s also been very accommodating and I really appreciate that. Overall, she’s great and I couldn’t be more satisfied!

Working with Jennifer really gives me a space to process things going on in my life and have a sounding board for my anxious thoughts. She has helped my anxiety a lot since I began with her.

Jennifer is one of the best therapists I've ever had. She's kind and compassionate, and she's encouraged me to speak about what's on my mind instead of holding my thoughts and feelings back. I've had other therapists tell me that I'm pretty good at figuring out myself on my own and that I don't really need therapy, which left me feeling alone and at times lost, because I can get there but I do need a light to help guide me. I told this to Jennifer and I have never felt alone or less supported. Jennifer is helping me set my future self up for success.

Jennifer is so lovely. She is kind, personable, and knowledgeable. I particularly appreciate the times when she sympathizes and is able to reply empathetically, ensuring me that I'm not alone in the daunting expanse I call my mind. She is responsive, understanding, accommodating, and, for my first time in therapy, a really wonderful fit. I was so hesitant to begin therapy, and Jennifer has made it such a safe space that I'm no longer scared to enter.
