About me
I am a UK qualified counsellor registered with the BACP and with over 6 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping people with a variety of emotional difficulties, such as low mood, anxiety, trauma and low self-esteem. I have also helped many people experiencing issues in their relationships or career, and experiencing loss and grief, or other changes in their lives. I believe that you are the expert of your own self and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.
Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can be daunting at first; I know this from my own experiences of being a client in the therapeutic relationship during my training. Therapy can provide you with a safe space to explore your thoughts, emotions, behaviours and relationships, and help you to make positive changes in your life.
I work in an integrative way, where I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches when helping people, such as person-centred and cognitive behavioural therapies. This allows me to tailor my work to each individuals needs, offering both listening and techniques to help overcome any challenges. I endeavour to put all of my clients at ease with my warm, down-to-earth and non-judgemental nature.
I can be flexible with appointments and can offer evening and weekend sessions upon client request. Please drop me a message if you cannot find a time on my schedule that is suitable for you.

My short time with Jennifer has been great! She provides a safe, open and supportive space and listens intently to all you have to say.
