About me

Hello, my name is Jennifer Frias. I am a newly licensed clinical social worker, out of West Texas. I spent three and a half years working towards my clinical license. I have worked in a behavioral health hospital, with two different homeless shelters, men arrested for family violence, men & women court ordered to anger management, and youth in foster care. Some of my clients struggled with addiction, trauma, abandonment, various mental health diagnosis, physical health ailments, anger/aggression and some of my clients have been US Veterans.

I am a Solution-Focused, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Informed Care Counselor/Therapist. I will met you where you are at, and work with you to determine what your goals are, and what you want out of therapy. I will be an advocate, a support person, and i will hold you accountable when needed. I believe in treating others with respect and kindness. Thank you for coming to my page and I look forward to working with you.

She is so personable. She make you feel comfortable and I enjoy our sessions. She is not pushy, She allows you to lead into the issue instead of forcing the issue into conversation. Highly recommend

I am so grateful to have a therapist that is able, in real-time, to notice things and help me to see them too. Trust me, my ADHD and PTSD can make her job challenging. She is able to make sense of everything I spill out to her and her style of communication is spot on. She is able to bring to light, uncomfortable truths, that help me become healthier. I'm actually seeing real improvement! I felt so hopeless before ... she has helped me come to a different level of therapy I didn't know could happen for me.

Very easy to speak with. I feel she understands my issues and tries to show me by clarifying what was said, which means she’s truly listening, and then explains why I may feel what I feel. I am glad to have someone with her knowledge to speak with and help me to work through the chaos!
