About me
Hello! My name is Jennifer Peña and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 9 years experience working with children, adolescents, teens, and adults both within inpatient and outpatient therapeutic capacities as well as in the school setting.
My speciality is working with adults and adolescents and teens (13-18), as well as high risk clients struggling with various issues such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, self-harm, interpersonal relationships, anger management, trauma grief and more. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), talk therapy, art therapy, music therapy, play therapy, and much more.
Through utilizing activities, worksheets, and conversation to build rapport, clients will be able to openly express themselves both creatively and cognitively within a safe, online therapeutic environment.
