About me

Greetings and Salutations! I am Jessica Brumfield, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Being proactive by seeking help during challenging times is an act of strength. As we progress through life, our perspectives, needs and goals change, which can cause stress, even lead to feeling unfulfilled. Experiencing difficulties in relationships, at work, pressure from family or being uncertain about the future are common issues that often lead people to therapy. You are not alone. Many clients seek to learn coping skills, how to foster healthy relationships, become motivated or want to figure out how to strike a balance in their lives. Therapy has a learning curve and it requires effort, patience, and openness. Results are reflective of the work that is put into it. The goals and pace of sessions will be by your design. I am committed to creating a non-judgmental space and partnering with you to explore your challenges, build on your strengths and make progress towards the changes that you want to see. I look forward to learning more about you and working together. ;)

I have the confidence to share my thoughts with Jessica, I usually struggle talking about my feelings and emotions.

I came to better help because I was and am dealing with high volumes of stress and transition I sign up and it took me 1 month before I was confident enough to talk . Jessica was so patient and kind , Jessica helps guide the conversation so I feel less overwhelmed and listened to. She also is so attentive to everything I explain and I never need to back track or check something. As at times my thoughts can jumble. I am also from the UK. I was worried as Jessica is in the US that somethings she would not understand. Nope totally fine . I trust her which is a very big thing for me, therapy needs to feel like advice and support from family and in a matter of weeks Jessica has created that safe space for me. Thank you Jessica for all your hard work.

By far the most helpful counselor I've talked to yet. She's very easy to talk to and has helped me with my anxiety. I've made a lot of progress in the time I've talked to her.

Jessica has a way of validating with true empathy. She has given me a space to become less judgey of myself and allow experiences to be real. With a few layers of trauma, she is the person I never knew I needed.
