Jessica Christmann, LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina with a strong passion and deep desire to inspire and heal others through the gift of unconditional presence, warmth, and acceptance. I began counseling as a profession 10 years ago and have worked with clients with a diverse range of issues/struggles. I have effectively worked alongside clients with chronic mental illness (e.g. Anxiety, Bipolar, Depression), addiction issues, and trauma to help them find relief and start living a more meaningful life. YOU are the expert on yourself. Our treatment goals are developed collaboratively. I strive to provide you a space that is non-judgmental, safe, creative, and dynamic. In session, we will explore and process your choices, desires, obstacles, patterns and limiting beliefs.
I consider myself an Integrative therapist , combining different therapeutic modalities and tools to fit the needs of the individual client. I have advanced training in CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, Positive Psychology, psychodynamic and somatic-based therapies. My approach is trauma integrated and informed, honoring that current symptoms of dis-ease are a result of past life experiences. I will help you cultivate more trust in listening to your mind, body, and soul so that life feels satisfying and meaningful using your inherent wisdom as a guide.
I look forward to working with you!
