Jessica Drennen (She/Her), LCSW
About me
Relationships matter. Relationships with other people and relationships with ourselves are equally significant. For years I have been passionate about working with kids, adolescents, and adults in exploring life and how they fit. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist in North Carolina with 13 years of professional work experience; 11 years of providing individual and group therapy. Facing life and all it has to offer can be overwhelming, scary, and sometimes seem unbearable. I do not shy away from difficult topics or the elephant in the room (such as race, white privilege, LGBTQIA, male toxicity, gender issues, politics, trauma, substance use, bullying, suicide, etc.). It is my goal to create space for us to explore any and all topics you need to address, improve on, and/or process. You do not have to do this alone, and you lead the way. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

She is authentic. She is transparent and doesn't beat around the bush, which for me personally, is what I enjoy most about my sessions.

I love Ms.Drennen. I feel so "at home" when I'm in her presence and I'd recommend her to anyone she's patient and kind and has such a sweet voice. And I've only had a couple sessions with her

Jessica is great at listening and helping me sort through my thoughts. She is understanding and lets me guide the sessions with topics I want to discuss. I am newer to therapy but she makes me feel very comfortable. Highly recommend her!

She is extremely thoughtful and intentional about her approach. She's really engaging and doesn't make the atmosphere seem stuffy just really all around personable.

Jessica is easy to talk to. Right out of the gate we were able to relate to each other and that opened the floor up to vulnerability and trust. I’d recommend her to anyone.
