About me
Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I currently work as a Clinical Supervisor but I spent the past 8 years as an outpatient therapist in family homes, schools, and private offices. I have worked with clients in the past that were working through past traumas, ADHD, depression, anxiety, family and spousal conflict, relationship concerns, attachment troubles, and everyday life struggles. I have worked with people of all ages from 6 years old to 65.
My counseling style is very open, and empathetic. I am very friendly, warm, and optimistic. I'm a big supporter of inspirational quotes, and a metaphor or two, as well as love to bring humor into sessions when needed and sharing a heartwarming tiktok or two! With that, I am also a realist, so I like to be as objectively direct and honest as possible with my clients during treatment, even when it is challenging or uncomfortable. My goal is always to build a relationship with my clients first to the point that they trust me and our therapeutic relationship to do so. I am very trauma-informed and base my counseling practice on trauma models. I incorporate interventions from PolyVagal Theory, Attachment Theory, DBT, and Somatic Work. I am also Level 1 Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy certified and have 3 years of training for Eco-systemic Structural Family Therapy under my belt as well.
Therapy is hard-work but the benefits and outcomes are oh so amazing and worth it!
Seeking treatment and the right therapist for you is the first step to healing, and tailoring your life the way you want it to go.
I look forward to working with you on your journey!

I have really appreciated Jessica’s down to earth and empathetic approach. It’s nice to feel like I’m talking to a real person who gets me. I’ve had problems with counsellors in the past but Jessica is fab.

Jessica is great! She offers me a variety of tools to use. She is very easy to talk to and I'm very shy. She's encouraging me to try new things. I'm so glad that she's the one I get to talk to.
