About me

My full name is Jessica Hope Murph
I prefer to be called Jess (she/her)

I have an MS degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling
I am licensed to practice (7+ years of experience) and Supervise future therapists (started supervising in 2024) in the state of Texas.

I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and polyamorous relationships who have endured persistent pain and struggle which manifests in complex trauma, debilitating symptoms, and even their very personality.

My approach is eclectic in design and humanistic by nature; I want my clients to feel comfortable, safe, and like they are talking to a real person with flaws and imperfections just like them. I use humor, I cuss, and I have feelings but my MO is always to hold space for my clients; I work for you and if what you need during a session is to break down then I'm here for it, and if what you need in a session is just to have some specially devoted time to talk about you then I'm also here for it!!

Very open minded and honest. She helps to put things in perspective and provide solutions without being condescending.

Jessica has been absolutely amazing in my mental health journey. She listens and cares about what I have to say, helping me focus on areas that I need help on and areas I didn't even realized I was needing help with. She is absolutely amazing!

Jess is honestly the best therapist I have ever worked with. She is so easy to talk to and her compassion and knowledge shine through in every session. Therapy can be daunting, but she has made this such a great experience. I highly recommend her to both therapy newbies or people that thought therapy wasn't for them in the past.
