About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina and have worked the past 18 years in a variety of mental health settings. I have worked with clients who have experienced a wide range of concerns to include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, single parenting, work/life stress, trauma, and sleep. I believe very strongly in the therapeutic relationship and feel that this is the foundation of the work that we will do together.
My therapeutic style can be described as warm and supportive with a focus on being authentic. My approach combines client centered, strength-based, humanist, approaches that are tailored to each individual clients unique needs. . Through the rapport building process I strive to understand each individuals current life situation and in collaboration with the client develop a plan to help them achieve their goals and live the life they envision.

She has been attentive and taken initiative to check in on me, and is actually accessible without making it feel like it was awkward. That’s not a skill you are taught but it’s definitely something she has honed. I appreciate it a lot especially since I communicated that I was needing more support. She’s great!
