Jessica Seidel, LPC
About me
Welcome to my page! My name is Jessica and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I hold a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Texas in Arlington and a Master of Science degree in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University. I have been counseling for the better part of 10 years now working with trauma, anxiety, self-esteem, postpartum, and parenting issues, ADHD and life changes in a variety of setting including non-profit, private practice, inpatient and in the school district.
I'm currently only seeing clients through my private practice called Mind Squared Counseling, PLLC. If you would like to know more feel free to visit the website at www. mindsquaredcounseling.com, or email me at info@mindsquareddfw.com.
I believe in a person centered approach where you, the client, are in control of your therapy session. I am here to guide you through your most difficult times and help you to learn how to cope with and work through each of your struggles. Counseling is a journey not a sprint, some things may only need a few sessions whereas deeper issues may take longer. I use techniques from many different theories including Cognitive Behavioral, Trauma Focused, Trust Based Relational Interventions, and Adlerian.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is a very important part of therapy so to make sure this is a good match, here is a little about me. I'm a mother of a two small children and a Basset Hound, a wife, daughter, a sibling to four younger brothers and an aunt. My family is very important to me and a big part of my life.
I believe anyone has the ability to change, that people are stronger, braver and more resilient than they realize, sometimes, and it is part of my job to help you find this within yourself. Even if the world is falling apart, together we can begin to piece it back together. I love helping others learn about and understand themselves better, so don't hesitate to ask questions or let me know if there is something that you don't understand. You are not alone and together you can do this!

I’ve only been working with Jessica for a week or two and already I can tell that she’s all in it with me. Which is very important when you’re trusting your mind and mental well being into someone you don’t know. She’s very responsive when I message her outside of our live sessions and sends me worksheets that help me. I absolutely recommend Jessica and look forward to working with her more.

Jessica is an excellent therapist. She has helped me understand myself a lot better than I could on my own, and is subtle about bringing forward the more difficult trauma I have experienced.

Jessica is a lifesaver. She brings me back to earth when I’m speaking and doors an amazing job helping me to see things from different perspectives. She is patient and kind and extremely knowledgeable in my particular needs. I don’t know where I’d be without her.
