About me

It gives me absolute pleasure to allow God to use me to minister through counseling to help clients achieve their healing by providing a safe place for them to have a voice, and for me to listen, and accept them as they are without judgment. My counseling experience began when I started working with Veterans and their families, using clinically tested and evidenced-based interventions to help Veterans who were suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder readjust to civilian life. Since then I have helped to empower over 100 civilian and military couples, also individuals & families suffering from depression & anxiety.

My approach is to integrate theory, spirituality and clinical knowledge to better understand, prevent and relieve psychologically and other dysfunctions by collaborating with clients to create a road map to help facilitate healthy changes and to increase their personal development.

I don't know how I'd be getting through this really tough time without Joan's help. She's not only listened, but helped me build my toolbox of ways to cope better. I'm glad I found her.
