About me
I am a Mental Health Counselor, licensed in Louisiana and North Carolina. I specialize in trauma work, relationships, couples counseling, and co-dependency. I love working with the LQBTQ+ community and hope to always be considered a safe place. I also enjoy working with Women's issues and health and again hope to always be considered a safe place.
My passion is helping my clients reach personal goals, work through trauma and become the best and most healthy version of themselves. I achieve this through offering support, kindness and dedication to my clients. My therapeutic style is very laid back while using cutting edge methods and styles of therapy that work best for you.
I value continuing education and do my very best to stay informed on the most up to date therapeutic techniques such as EMDR, hypnosis, CBT, Aderlian and Internal Family Systems therapy just to name a few.
In addition to being a counselor for 10 years I am currently in my second year as a Forensic Psychology PhD candidate. My clients are my passion, I want to provide the best care. That starts with striving to maintain the most comprehensive education I can obtain.
I will use my knowledge base, experience and discussions with you surrounding your personal goals for therapy to create a comprehensive, custom plan tailored specifically to your needs and goals for yourself.
When you are ready, know that I will be your biggest cheerleader, support system and accountability partner. I look forward to working with you to create the life you want for yourself and become the best version of you!
I can't wait to meet you!
