About me

Registered Member MBACP (Accredited)

As an integrative counsellor, I work collaboratively with my clients to uncover and utilise their inherent strengths, guiding them toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life. My approach is flexible and tailored, incorporating a range of therapeutic methods to meet each client’s unique needs and circumstances.

Central to my counselling philosophy are the values of unconditional positive regard, congruence, and empathy. These principles underpin every interaction, creating a safe and supportive space where personal growth and healing can thrive.

My diverse background and personal experiences have profoundly shaped my work, particularly in supporting clients dealing with addiction, anxiety, guilt, shame, and self-esteem. Having faced and navigated these challenges myself, I bring a compassionate and nuanced understanding of the struggles that can lead to harmful coping mechanisms. Together, we explore healthier, more empowering strategies tailored to each individual’s journey.

While I have a strong focus on these areas, my practice is open to supporting clients with any challenges they wish to address. My priority is always to provide the most effective, compassionate care possible.

I am a Registered Member MBACP (Accredited) and also provide Relational Seven-Eyed Supervision for fellow counsellors. This supervision promotes professional growth and development, enhancing relational dynamics and improving therapeutic effectiveness in practice.

If you are seeking support, whether as a client or a fellow professional, I am here to help.

John is very patient and equally wise. I had a great time sharing my personal stories with him and all the advise and tools he shared with me have been truly valuable. Thank you John.

I have never been happier with a therapist in my life. Literally every session I walk away feeling like I got something out of it, and I tell my husband every single week how happy I am with the care I receive. I would recommend John 1000%.

I’ve only had a couple sessions with John but he’s already given me a ton of help and material to read or listen to, he’s very open to conversation and is great at helping me breakdown my thoughts and feelings.
