About me
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas, I have spent over 12 years helping adults navigate anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and betrayal. My commitment to respectful and attentive care stems from witnessing the shortcomings of managed healthcare, particularly within the VA system. As a retired disabled veteran, I possess firsthand insight into the challenges faced by veterans and first responders.
My work focuses on helping individuals and couples process trauma, infidelity, and significant life transitions. I employ evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge negative thinking patterns, Trauma-Focused Therapy to assist clients in working through past experiences, Attachment-Based Therapy to explore relational dynamics, and Mindfulness to help regulate inappropriate thoughts, feelings, and emotions. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard and respected.
