About me

I know that the things you hold inside are very important to you. I myself have gone to therapy for many years and know first hand how tough it can be to find the right therapist. That's why I want to help you navigate the therapy world. For those who are new and for those who may be returning to therapy, I like to discuss the process of therapy and the client/counselor relationship as well as my approach in the first session. This way you can see if I'm a good fit for you and whether you choose to work with me or not, I hope you leave with more knowledge about what you are looking for and how to find it.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with 6 years of experience helping clients through difficult life changes, depression, and anxiety. I specialize helping clients who are suffering from forms of grief and loss.

I center my care in teaching the principles of self-compassion. This becomes our home base as we we examine what's important to you to determine how your values can add more meaning into your life. Sometimes there are situations in life that we cannot change, but in talking together I hope to help you think more openly, go easier on yourself, and find ways to create more of the life you want. This approach is guided by the theory of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

My therapist is truly the best. He listens and is understanding. I always feel wonderful after speaking with him.
