Joshua Fowler, LIMFT
About me
It is my observation, from all of my clinical experiences, that people are both hurt by and healed by relationships. This is a large focus in my clinical practice, but not the only focus. Sometimes, the things affecting us have little to do with our relationships at all. Whatever it is that's bothering you, keeping you stuck, or giving you issue in life, I would welcome you to come and work with me.
I am licensed in Ohio as an Independent Marriage & Family Therapist, with 11 years of professional work experience doing therapy, and 10 years experience running my own private practice.
Most of my clients talk with me about how stress from personal relationships or work relationships is impacting their lives. I work collaboratively with my clients to find strategic solutions to problems, and I give clients specific opportunities to learn new skills that will help build confidence and produce successful outcomes.
I have experience in helping clients with relationship issues, family conflicts, intimacy related issues, anxiety, trauma, and depression. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.
Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage -- believe me! I've been there myself, in need of a therapist but unsure if I will ever find someone who is actually helpful. I hope to calm your fears, if you will take a chance on me. It would be my privilege to work with you!

Josh is an amazing person that has not only helped me with my immediate issues, he’s helped me uncover things I didn’t know were issues and have kept me from being the best version of myself. He has helped me more than I thought was possible.

A wonderful wealth of knowledge, someone who I deeply respect and trust, and someone who cares about me for who I am not what I do. I highly recommend.

Today was my 13th therapy session with Josh. When we started I couldn't get through a session without crying, but he has really helped me to view my situation realistically and with less judgement of myself. I was in a very low place and being matched with Josh through Better Help has truly been heaven sent! ❤️
