Joy Wallar, LIMHP
About me
I am licensed in Nebraska with 6 years of professional work experience. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in education and still do some educational consulting. Immediately after leaving education, I worked in the field of sexual health as a consultant and mental health provider. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, parenting issues, motivation, self esteem, confidence, & depression. When appropriate, I still love to work on empowering people within their sexuality and reducing any shame messages that society tends to send around our bodies and sex. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

Joy helped me move through process and come to terms with trauma and relationships issues. She is absolutely wonderful and I can’t thank her enough for being there when I was about to break. I can confidently say I’m living a much better and healthier life mentally and physically now after my sessions with her.
