Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Joyce Harris. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I am a productive and creative academic with 30+ years experience. But I hit a bump in the road with a daunting new project and was beset by imposter syndrome. Anxiety and paralysis began to undermine the whole undertaking, and worse, I was dimming my own shining light. Twelve weeks out from my deadline, struggling between first and second drafts, I decided to try Better Help and was connected to Therapist Joyce Harris. Working with Joyce transformed my whole experience: she created a space for me to give voice to (and challenge) my critical inner disruptor and to reframe my dread of vulnerability. She and I were very well matched, better than the algorithm might have predicted, and really connected around challenges for women navigating in high pressure fields. Joyce is very skilled in this area, and was instrumental in helping me break through to express my ideas and research with confidence. Happy ending to this story: my manuscript was received with rave feedback. But even before that feedback had been communicated, on deadline day when I submitted the completed draft, I felt really proud of my scholarship as a genuine reflection of my unique contribution to my field. That feeling is everything. Thank you, Joyce... I am so appreciative of your support on this journey to try scary things, get help along the way, and claim space.
