About me

You are here because you want something to change. You do not want to be frustrated, heartbroken, overwhelmed, or hopeless.
When life gets heavy, an understanding person who truly listens can make a real difference. Take advantage of my knowledge, empathy and compassion developed through years of listening to others. Experience allows me to reach into many wisdom areas in mental, physical and spiritual health. Our work will strengthen and empower you to create the life you seek. Be curious and come work with me.

My practice is limited to individuals who are willing to adhere to the following absolutes:

Non-judgment- Every person is unique. Every walk is sacred.
Confidentiality - Everything you say to me is totally private as long as you are not planning to harm yourself or someone else.
Honesty - You can only heal by speaking your truth. I'll help you find it.
Focus - Real therapy requires safety and focus. Distractions destroy the success of our time together. NO phones, dual screens, media or music. And no hidden humans, pets or children.
Respect - Time and money are important. Maintain the resolve that brought you here by keeping your scheduled appointments.

When you schedule your first appointment, I will send you paperwork which I like to frame as a free first session. Gift yourself time to answer the questions as thoroughly and openly as you can. This benefits us in two ways: we know I have correct information to build on and we do not use therapy time asking basic questions. Your answers move us quickly past introductions into creation of a meaningful plan for the life change you are seeking.

Let’s get started, click on “Work with Me,” and schedule an appointment. I look forward to our conversations!

Judy has been so great to work with. I feel like she really listens and has a great way of encouraging me to get outside of my comfort zone while also being empathic and patient.

Ms. Judy as I affectionately call her is absolutely wonderful. She is patient and compassionate but she also keeps me moving forward at a pace that feels safe and comfortable. She allows me to talk when I need to talk while also coupling that with homework that stretches me and allows me to apply what I’m learning and uncovering in our sessions. I am eternally grateful.

Judy has been amazing. Her approach and non-judgment of me and my situation has allowed me to be open with her and has helped me heal from some current difficult situations - along with helping me see how past experiences have shaped me. She is professional, caring, knowledgeable, and talking with her feels like being wrapped in a comfy blanket and in a safe hug. Yes, sounds cheesy. She is able to notice the little things and has helped me be more aware of my responses and reactions to difficult topics. You can tell that she has lived life, and has landed in a place of being okay with things - and that she truly wants her patients to make it through whatever they are experiencing in a way that is better as well.
