About me
I transplanted from Missoula, Montana two years ago, to Coeur d'Alene. I earned my Bachelor of Social work from the University of Montana in 2019 then began working as a Licensed Addiction therapist for women with dependent children. I then earned my Masters of Social Work from the University of Louisiana in 2020. I am now a licensed clinical social worker in Idaho. I bring over 5 years of experience working with a wide range of clients. I have a special place in her heart for substance abuse treatment as I spent 7 years with western Montana mental health, serving women with children from all over the Montana area. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM), several suicide prevention trainings, Circle of security parenting, love and logic parenting, as well as experience with dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and some play therapy. I also have experience supporting women, men and children from age 6 and up for mental health. I specialize in working with trauma, LGBT issues, interpersonal relationships, and family/couples therapy.
