Julie Kellaway, Psychologist
About me
Hi! My name is Julie and I am a licensed doctoral-level psychologist. I have over 20 years of experience. While I have experience working with most mental health conditions, I particularly enjoy working with people who are motivated to become the next best version of themselves.
My primary treatment modality is a short-term therapy model and includes techniques such as existential, mindfulness-based, and emotion-focused therapies.
Some clients also find hypnosis to be a helpful tool for enhancing their self-awareness. Hypnosis is a modality that I find helpful with people who are looking to know themselves more deeply. Most people walk away from a therapeutic hypnosis session feeling relaxed and positive.
I am excited to begin working with you and will happily answer any questions!

Julie is very straight forward, blunt, and honest and does not filter and that is something that I really like in a therapist. I’m here for help, not sugar coated nice words. 10/10

She is direct and matter of fact. She challenges me to look with in. I like her style. I also like how she lets me be me on the calls. She is also very responsive in the chat.

Julie is amazing. I was at such a low point in my life, that I really didn’t think this ( or anything) would help. But it was the best thing I could have done.

Julie is very compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional. She made me feel very comfortable and heard in our sessions through active listening. I felt very validated and understood and I can't wait to continue working with her. I went into the session very stressed and came out feeling very hopeful and enthusiastic about my journey.
