About me
I am a licensed clinical social worker in South Carolina with over 10 years of experience working with people of all ages and backgrounds who are experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief and loss and mood disorders. I've also worked with individuals experiencing parenting concerns and self esteem concerns.
Within the therapeutic relationship, we will work to develop goals to support your individual needs and move towards change. We will work toward positive change by implementing an number of evidenced based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Through self-reflection, therapy can help you develop your capacity to be more self-aware, challenge negative thoughts and build towards a more safe and healthy life functioning.

Ayoka has a kind and calm disposition! I can feel comfortable talking as a woman of color and I feel safe with the topics I share. Her suggestions have helped me navigate day to day experiences and she lets me talk through my emotions.
