I am licensed in New York State with 25 years of professional work experience. I have two Master's degrees and a post-masters degree in Treatment of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Clients ( TADAC). I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, coping with addictions, depression, trauma, abuse, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I also have experience in working with evidence-based practice curriculums such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and motivational interviewing skills. I believe in treating everyone with respect, cultural sensitivity, competence, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It’s very obvious that Karen listens when I speak because she repeats what I say and we talk through solutions together. She puts meaning behind her words and normalizes my feelings. Karen is very approachable and is someone who I’m excited to talk to after a long week!
